I love it really. It's a very emotive image and I find myself smiling at it (against my better nature, course). I really like the pattern and textures in the scarf and the rest of the clothing.... you have some very nice shading. Out of curiosity, what shades of pencil did you use? I can never get that light sort of shading, but that's probably because I never use anything paler than an HB.

Hmm... improvements. There's not much I can say, really. The clothing on the bloke's arm seems slightly two-dimensional, I think you need to build up the tones there.... it should be darker around the edges and the shadows accentuated. Otherwise, it's a really lovely piece.

thanks so much!! i really apreciate the "constuctive critisism"! Ummm....i think for the lighter areas, i used a 3H or 2H, mostly, i usually stick with an HB though.
